Dr. Bottiglieri is proud to serve as your Superintendent.  He shared “I am excited to lead our school community as we explore the road to success for all students and staff and follow our commitment of Building Better Bobcats…Together!”

Dr. Bottiglieri brings more than 25 years experience in public education in various educational leadership roles across three Pennsylvania counties. He has previously served as Superintendent of Wyalusing Area School District in Bradford County, Assistant Executive Director of Berks County Intermediate Unit, and many years as a Principal/Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, and even served as Director of Athletics all in neighboring Berks County.  Dr Bottiglieri grew up in Reading, PA and is the proud father of two adult daughters and is happily married to his wife Ashley.

A passionate advocate for public education, Dr. Bottiglieri leads legislative priorities for our district as well as various Pennsylvania state advocacy agencies. His contributions include serving on the PASA Legislative Committee, being elected to the PARSS Board of Directors, and has testified to both the PA General Assembly (on rural broadband internet expansion) and the PA House Education Committee (on school safety).

In addition to the committed district leadership at Northeastern, Dr. Bottiglieri facilitates learning for adult educators aspiring to become school leaders and Superintendents by serving as an adjunct professor at Immaculata University.  Working with aspiring leaders who are doctoral candidates, Dr. Bottiglieri teaches various courses in leadership, personnel management, and school business, finance, and operations. He continues to mentor adult professionals through the research and dissertation process and has served on multiple dissertation committees. 

Dr. Bottiglieri earned his undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University and his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Widener University. He also holds a National Superintendent Certification through the American Association of School Administrators.
